Is really great, I wish she won more awards, So my ? is, why do Carrie and Taylor win so much when IMO Miranda is more " Country "

me too. i love all three, but miranda is more of a rock and roll country girl than the other two, and most times being different means you get left out in the cold. take for example, sarah buxton. maybe you have never heard of her, but thats my point. she is a newer country music singer (she sang 'that kind of day") and a great one in that. her voice is a bit raspy but it makes for an interesting and different sound than what most people are used to. she has a record deal, but her label has been dragging their heels to get it out, and only released a partial album this past summer. the same kind of thing happened to miranda. did you know she and her father produced an independant cd before she ever got a record deal? it had quite a few songs on it that were very good, but im guessing because miranda isnt your typical country singer, she was getting ignored. thank God for nashville star, because it would be so sad if all that talent was still sitting around, being wasted because miranda wasn't getting the attention she deserves! go miranda!!!

Carrie wins because she has had a lot more exposure from American Idol. She does not deserve it tho. She was handed her singing career... she never had to work for it. And she knows it. I come from a small town in Ok. I know her and her friends well. We used to drive down to Checotah every weekend. She is not a nice person. She will be getting whats coming to her eventually.
Taylor Swift wins because she is so young and everyone is amazed a that. I will say she is better than Carrie but she is does not compare to Miranda Lambert.
Miranda on the other hand has the punk look and feel to her. Yes she is pure country but it throws people off when she is head banging around stage. Alot of the people who are on the award commitees are more old school country so they do not tend to like those who step in and want to throw eveyone a curve ball.....

I saw Miranda a couple years ago at the Country Stampede in Manhattan.
She's pretty, but needs to polish her image. I mean she came out wearing a red bandana instead of the customary cowboy hat.
Terri Clark is 100% country girl.
I think the reason there is a big push about all the Taylor Swift craze is because she's a senior in high school. For that matter Lila McCann was a cheerleader and recording artist when she was a junior in high school.

I believe the answer is that they are more out there and you here more about them then Miranda. I am a huge fan of all three of them and I literally hear more about Carrie and Taylor than I do about Miranda. I hope this helps.

I Totally agree 100%! Taylor is only famous because she has this cutesy image to her and Carrie has a really nice voice in all but Miranda is awesome. She kicks butt! I love like hard core rock n' roll kind of edgy girls who you never wanna mess with. She Rocked it at the CMA's when performing "Gunpowder and Lead". When Taylor performed I was like omg are you kidding me you are being brodcasted all around the world and not to mention it was country's biggest night and you were performing infront of possibly thee greatest legends of all time and you sound like that. Does she know what she sounds like? She has totally let down country music. I mean Taylor seems sweet in all but please do us all a favor and stick to just song writting. Shes good at that i mean her lyrics to her songs are really catch its just her voice kinda stinks.
All I am trying to say is Miranda Lambert rocks!♥

I believe Miranda is more edgy, more of a rocker, than the other two. Her songs are border line country, like Kerosene and the new Gun Powder and Lead, the older folks aren't sure what to think of here.
I think she's awesome.

I didn't really care for Miranda Lambert when she first came out, but she's slowly growing on me.
Carrie is huge because of American Idol.
I'm assming you mean Taylor Swift when you just say Taylor? If so, I just don't get what the big deal is about her. She's okay, but nothing great.

I don't like her. I saw her open for George Strait a couple years ago. She did not even acknowledge a fan asking for her autograph while she was standing along the isle waiting fro Tracy Lawrence to come out. Meanwhile at the end of the show George took the time to shake every ones hand that he could possibly reach including my own (8th row along the entrance isle). So in my opinion her music is ok but I don't like her as a person and I think probably turned alot of people off by actions like that.
