I learned a long time ago that if you start whispering the others will shut up and listen.

I often feel like it, definately. But that never works, just turns into a screaming-fest. If I really want to be heard, I whisper. Then it seems like everybody wants to know what I've said.

Yes, I do have to scream if I want to be heard by some people. Other people will only listen if you talk in a quiet voice.

Yes, but I just get really quiet. I get interrupted a lot, and it makes me want to walk away. Nobody should have to scream to be heard.

...funny you should ask this....the phone rang an hour ago and after I answered it, put it on hold, then I called out to the person who was asked for on the phone...3 times and each time it was louder than the last...then I was finally heard and received a resounding, "Don't yell at me, I have a headache"...I guess I was heard only after I raised my voice...

Sometimes that will happen. But I am not fond of hearing screams, much less letting them out myself.

I feel like that alot but I wont do it. put it this way have you ever been around a person that says huh? out of habit. i mean almost everthing I say they say huh? Well sometimes I just wantt o scream you want tomato on that?????????
