If you don't know his family well, gift cards are always a good option. Something like wal-mart, best buy, target -- stuff that pretty much anyone can use.

It's hard to say what to get your boyfriend because you didn't tell much about his interests. Does he like video games or sports or anything? Maybe like a jersey for his favorite team or a game for his Xbox 360 if he has one. Just a couple ideas, hope this helps.

Don't feel you have to give the rest of his family presents...you are a college student...so I am sure they don't expect you to give them presents....maybe at a family gathering with your boyfriend....just bring some food or desert or wine....and have it nicely wrapped up .....

with a gift for a boyfriend...maybe put together some little things in a christmas stocking....things he uses or likes everyday....candy.....small cologne....always can do a giftcard and put it in something....with some christmas little things or candy...and he could use it towards something he wanted or something bigger he was going to get for himself anyway....

My wife and I are just buying eachother Concert Tickets for Xmas. Dolly Parton for her, and Steve Earle for me. Neither of us needs anything big.

To get good presents you have to know what the recipients would want or like.
