i havent gone this winter and i didnt pay enough attention last winter to see if i did but i heard from someone that somehow u tan at a snow resort..is this true? ever happen to you?

Your face can get tan/burnt...Sun refecting off the snow....

LOL sure it can happen. You're around snow which is reflecting light onto your exposed skin the entire time you're out there! If you're not careful, you'll get burned.

Yes, it's true. The snow reflects the sun so you get extra sun exposure.

Yes especially from the sun being relfected from the snow.. Haven't you ever seen bikini skiing???

especially true at the higher elevation resorts out west--thats why so many people wear sunscreen on their faces(usually the only exposed skin), if you can sunburn, then you can suntan too!!!!

Of course, on exposed skin. Don't forget to protect under your nose and chin - reflected light can burn there, as well.

i duno but i have gotten a horrible sunburn but i bet its possible most of your body is covered up anyway so you can't really get a tan
