I have had enemies treat me better. I am so tired of being emotionally beat down.

The person who says they love someone but treats them like crap is probably selfish and doesn't understand what love is or takes it for granted. Consider what you're getting out of the relationship compared to what you're giving. If you're giving more than you're getting then maybe it's time to end the relationship. I've had both friendships and romantic relationships that were toxic and it was a tremendous relief to end them. Good luck.

thats not real love, it's infatuation, and it's not healthy. trust me, i have been there before, and thats a place that i will never visit again, it's the worse kind of relationship there is, and it can lead to disaster, usually for you. leave now, be strong and just walk away and never look back. if you need to talk, i'm here, i will listen. i know exactly what you are going through, trust me, once you find the courage to get up and leave, you will soon find that life is so much better than what you are experiencing right now, you deserve better, and if you love yourself, care about yourself at all, then you will do what's best for your well being. god bless you.

I know it's hard, but i think the others here have the right idea. If someone makes you feel so bad about yourself it's time to move on. Mr. Right could be out there and if you're sitting around wasting time with Mr Wrong you could miss the chance of a lifetime!

The more important question would be how can you love someone that treats you like crap? If you are unable to answer this question you may find yourself asking the question you posted over and over.
The answer to your original question is that they are lying. You do not treat someone like crap if you love them. You don't intentionally hurt (mentally or physically) someone you love.

Get away from this loser now before you feel more beat down because you will and you will only have yourself to blame for putting up with them!
No one is worth having to put up with that crap.

i kno i have been in this situation before tell the person that they are hurting you and if dey dont stop then let them go because being hurt by somebody is not worth da pain or the heartache no matter how much you may love dem

Because they think that is all love requires. Get away from them as soon as possible before you start to feel like that's the best you can do.

1) Because they are self-centered. So while they care about you, they can't be bothered with thinking about how their actions effect other people.
-OR-
2) Because they just tell you they love you in order to keep you around because they are getting what they want out of you by saying it.
Either way, I'd kick that person out of my life.
