For me it is 'similar'. My fingers have a mind of their own and they just type 'similiar' all on their own.

Do you think that spell-check has influenced our spelling ability as much as calculators influenced our math ability.

I've never had much trouble with spelling, but one thing spell check has helped me learn is that if you are using the word others as a plural possessive, you do NOT need to use an apostrophe! I'm not sure why. It is the same with ones, as in ones self. Wouldn't you think you'd use an apostrophe before the s in ones? But, no, you don't. Go figure. Life is full of surprises.

I always misspell license. Silk, that's funny. I usually type it "becasue." I also mistype definitely! Good question. I do think we rely on spell check like we do calculators, Just look at the sound alike words that are used incorrectly all the time! That's what spell check has done for the English language. (It helps more than it hurts - I just typed "waht". Another common mistype!)

Too many to list. I used to be good at spelling but this has diminished over the years, along with a few other things. I use spell check a lot. Now if they could come up with something that would prevent me from making dumb comments, I would use that quite often.

My mistakes are usually those ie or ei words. I think I'm dyslexic sometimes. I do know for a fact that spell check has played a major role in my spelling ability... same with calculators.

Sage.... would you stop bragging!! LOL

Words with an apostrophe. Sometimes the little finger hurts too bad to reach over there so forgive me.

My spell check has never worked. I have learned to live with my mistakes. Don't think it matters at this point in my life!
