Nope! I've hated wearing tights/nylons and dresses since I was a little girl. There are about 25% uncomfortable and 75% RESTRICTIVE. In a dress, you can't sit comfortably - you have to sit with your legs crossed so as not to give a peep show. Nylons and brasa are itchy and heels are painful after about an hour or so.
The ONLY reason I wear them is for the guys. Otherwise, it all completely sucks!

Why don't you try wearing nylons, heels and a dress on a cold, windy morning, waiting for your subway train to take you to your destination.
Spend at least half an hour walking in 35 degree weather in a dress that comes above your knees with nylons and heels on.
See how comfortable you'll be with a pair of nylons on in 95 degree heat. You'll start sweating in no time and your feet will start to slide in your shoes.

dresses not so bad at all, but if it is a tight figure showing dress its very uncomfortable because it limits my movement. i love wearing dresses, it feels so feminine. heels, now that is a different story. i love the way they look, they make any outfit look hot. but oh my goodness it does a number on you feet. there is a difference though between a heel and a wedge, the wedge gives more support and doesnt hurt quite as much. and nylons... i dont usually wear them unless there the stylish ones like fishnets or the ones with designs. but they are itchy and can be a pain to put on.

I'd say the worst is heels. The others are doable. If you can afford a pair of Taryn Rose's or Jimmy Choo's your feet probably won't feel so bad. But, think about it...walking around in 3 inch heels all day puts a lot of pressure on the ball of your foot...it hurts. And a lot of times the backs/sides of the shoes rub a blister on your feet - that sucks too. If the nylons and dresses hurt they probably don't fit properly...

No, they don't exaggerate how uncomfortable all those are. Try fitting into shoes that are not meant to fit the average human foot and try standing on high pointy heels without having your ankles wobble all over the place. Also, try wearing pantyhose that doesn't breathe and is hot in the summer. As for dresses, I prefer wearing pants. They are more comfortable and I don't have to walk around worrying about whether something is showing or if something is riding up in the back.

Are you kidding me? You try wearing tight nylons and a tight dress to look good and then put on some 3-5 inch heels and walk around on your feet all day and see how you feel. Its ok to wear when you are going out for a while but when you have to spend all day in them you just want to come home and take them off so you can feel better.

Nylons give me a rash and the last time I wore heels I blistered my feet so bad I had to wear sandals for a week. I'll take pants any day. Although, long dresses that I don't have to wear hose with are just fine. I like looking pretty, it's just so uncomfortable to do so!

Not all dresses are uncomfortable. I like to wear dresses that show off the good parts of my figure, and hide the flaws.
And nylons are only uncomfortable when it’s really hot outside. I try to buy nylons that are smooth to the touch. Once you get used to heels, they’re easy to wear.

It is too darn cold right now to wear a dress LOL !!!! Not all of it is extremely uncomfortable. I hate the fact that pantyhose does not let ...emm...certain area get enough air ( in short my crotch sweats). I prefer thigh-highs because there is more air flow ( wink) Heels, it depends. If I am going to walk a long distance it has to be flats ( heels are just killer after a mile or so...) I like to dress nice, feel feminine, but sweat pants and t-shirts are just as nice! :)

It's not uncomfortable, and I love heels!
OK - they ARE uncomfortable but I've actually gotten used to wearing them and I like the way me legs look in them. And the height gain - it's kind of empowering.
But honey, there ain't nothing soft about 4 inch heels. Trust me.
