I don't think Romo should be number 2 he should be the third starter

The Pro Bowl doesn't mean anything. The starters are for the fans. 2 years ago Manning threw 5 interceptions in the first half and they left him in for the fans. Favre has been in the NFL a lot longer than Romo and has built his fan base. I'm not a Packers fan, but I like Favre. Not many people out there like Romo better than Favre. ONLY THE COWBOYS FANS WILL DISAGREE.

Romo may have better numbers, but Favre is doing it with less talent at skill positions. Romo has TO who is very good, Jason Witten - arguable the best TE in the NFL, and a solid backfield with Marion Barber and Julius Jones. Add to that his O line and he's pretty well supported.

Favre has no one as a go-to guy on his team, an average line, and a running back by committee. He's done it with less supporting talent. If Favre had even one of the weapons that Romo has in Dallas, the Packers would be undefeated.

Sounds right. Romo is Favres self-styled protege'....so he should be behind the Master. And with the way he has played this season, it would almost be an insult to make Favre the backup. Favre is still the better leader. But I think it's great. Not sure about Hassleback...but really, who else is doing anyhting in the NFC? (Garcia maybe?....But his numbers are only mediocre) I'm more curious as how Peyton beat out Derek Anderson and/or Garrard in the AFC (popularity contest, I guess)

Of course Favre should be the starter.

Favre has an average offensive line and didn't have a running game the first 8 weeks of the season. Romo has T.O. and lots of other weapons. If it wasn't for Tom Brady, Brett Favre would win his fourth MVP award.

Actually Favre has better numbers than Romo and Favre deserves to be in the Pro Bowl as a starter. I also feel he should be right up there in the MVP voting. He is having the best season of his career.

That's fine by me. Favre is one of the most respected quarterback in the league. He's in his rightful place. Romo will get his chance as starter after he's been in the league a couple of years. Romo has started for 1.5 seasons and he's been voted to the Pro Bowl twice. Not bad if you ask me.

And for the loser above who said Romo doesn't deserve to be in the Pro Bowl. How's that? You obviously haven't seen his stats, and you obviously aren't aware that he's the 2nd ranked quarterback in the league. And you're probably just jealous because he's out there winning football games while you're sitting on your *** watching it.

They're both having GREAT years and this is possibly Favre's last or penultimate season so he got the nod. Romo will have plenty of yrs to assume the helm, especially w/ TO and a solid TE to boot. BTW, I am a Bears fan and there's some ridiculous stat like the Bears have had 20-something qbacks over the duration of Favre's career. I hate him but I do like watching him play.

Favre....obvious and logical choice and even Hassleback of Seattle. I STILL have my doubts with Romo....he chosen simply because everyone in Dallas probably voted for him.

I think it is a beautiful thing and they picked it right. Favre is still the best quarterback playing today and he should be starting first, Tony still has a lot to learn. Who better to learn from?
