Just imagine this scenario in the far future. Say that everybody had their own spaceship which they could grow food on, have hospitals, schools etc. Then imagine they could travel at the speed of light so if they fled from the police no one could catch them wouldn't the state cease to exist as no one would need it anymore.

Why do you think countries in history have risen and fell?

Reason: Once the standard of living is no longer dependant on the governmental body, the governmental body ceases to exist, which is going on right now in the US. Even the poor in this country are not bad off. Most can afford cars, food and shelter.

It rears its head on occasion, however we are usually willing to submit to some level of control either through govt or religion and therefore Anarchy as a way of governance will never exist. PEACE!

I like the scenario, what are you on?? I think there's something in humans that craves order and predictability. I think this can be proven because these things are universally in all our societies.

Anarchy is just not in our nature.

IMHO, not absolute anarchy. As long as you have one person willing to follow the lead of another you don't have true anarchy.

Anarchy raises sometimes. But generally people want to be safe, and have their family safe. And you have to be able to protect yourself from the crazy and drunk people out there.
