Today where I work, everytime I turned around or looked up this guy was at staring me. I'm so used to being stared or gawked at I really never pay much attention. Finally he came up to me and told me the same line as I have been told hundreds of times by people in the industry I work in. He offered a proposal to me and gave me 24 hours to decide. It's something I have always refused to ever do. I know if any of you were offered what I have been. You would be totally blown away by the proposal offered to me. People would say take it, only I know it's a total life changing decission.

You have to consider not only what you could gain, but what you could potentially lose. If things don't work out, you will need a Plan B (returning to your previous position or finding something else.) 24 hours is a short amount of time to make such an important decision, and you must be sure you're being told all of the information you need to know, so that you don't jump in and then find you are up to your neck in regrets. Ultimately, it's your decision, but I think more time is needed.

How intriguing! And aren't we the master of vagaries? Unless he's proposing that you saw your arms off, I can't imagine what decision would be so permanently "life changing".
Sorry, what may be "life changing" to you might not be so melodramatic to any of us, so I for one can't say if 24 hours is enough time or not.
Apparently you've had this same offer before, so you must have had some time to consider it before now, which means you've already had more than 24 hours to evaluate the consequences, whatever they may be.

You *can* make a life-changing decision in 24 hours, but I wouldn't. If he wants you to do whatever it is, then he should be willing to wait a little more than one day.
EDIT: You've always refused ever to be in a film? How many times have you been asked??
It would definitely change your life if you "hit." But it'd be hard to pass up, eh?

I'm sorry there is no way to answer your question with out more details , a life changing decision could be to become a vegetarian or a serial killer we just don't know, more information is required before any serious answer can be given .

Look what. It takes years to know a person. And you don't want to marry a stranger, do you? And no, I don't think 24 hours is enough to make an important decision.

So the answer is yes... 24 hours is plenty of time to make a life changing decision... but no, we can't help you make that decision with no information ... most often however... I think your "gut" will steer you in the right direction... and you can ask yourself if this decision will make you proud of yourself for having made it ....or not
EDIT:
DO IT MAN!!!..... just DO IT!!!.....

i dont know what the proposition was but nothing is as important as your integrity ...life changing ordeals should take a little more than 24 hr anyway if he is serious with this proposal he will wait for you.

What industry do you work in? What kind of proposal did he make to you.
You really have to be more detailed if you want some good answers.

I'd say go for it. It sounds like an incredible opportunity and a real adventure as well. Besides, you can't go on depriving the world of that face!

I wouldn't take it (if you're talking about what I think you're talking about). I'd rather have my dignity than money, I'm not rich or anything, but I have enough for all my basic needs so I'm not looking for any 'quick' ways to make an extra buck.
If I got your question wrong though, sorry! :D
