Whats The Point?

Question

Of making our beds if we just sleep on them in some time and they get messy again, or the fact that I never have any guest come over anyway?

By the way i dont care for clean

i say don't make it. if you are comfortable with it that way, then who cares what others think.

Same question would apply to why bother washing dishes, you'll just plop some food back on them after they're washed anyway or why take a shower, I'll get dirty again by tomorrow. hahaha

I tell you why I like to make my bed -
- a made bed instantly makes a room look more put together, cleaner
- you're less prone to climb back into bed if it's actually made
- you can tell easier if the sheets need washing (earlier than once a week)
- you are prepared in the rare case guest do come over
- and best of all it feels much better to slip in a nicely made bed than a bed with crumpled up sheets.

guests have nothing to do with the reason to make your bed, You make it so it is clean .neat, and tidy. Nice to slip in to a well made clean bed. I was taught this when a little girl. Did some one not teach u that? All guys and gals are taught that, well most any way.

In the winter i find it warmer to get into a made bed than getting into an unmade one which has all the sheets exposed to the air! Remember - layers!!! Plus, it looks neat and tidy to make your bed :-)
