In Germany, on the autobahn, they would get what they called a "stau", which is basically a traffic jam caused by too many cars on the road,. And they happened every day at 4 in the afternoon. You could get stuck in those for HOURS!!!! Especially if there was a car accident. The longest I was stuck was 3 hours. My husband got stuck in one once for 4.5 hours.

omg like over 24 hours!

i live in houston, texas and on 2005 there was a hurricane warning here that hurricane rita is going to hit houston, after we saw what hurricane katrina did to new orleans (flooded and dammage) badly we had to evacuate, on the freeway was soo bad we werent moving stucking for hours in one spot.! it was the worse day ever. it was also hot outside like around 90 something and very humid, we have to bring a plastic bag to pee in, and most car on the freeway ran out of gas and stuck there, and most gas station ran out of gas to!, and later we found out that the hurricane didnt hit houston, it hit between lousiana and texas. well thats actually a good thing. we were so lucky!
