No....older people keep "Journals"....a fancier name for about the same thing. You're keeping a record of your life.....enjoy it. (Who knows - maybe a hundred years from now, someone will find it and think you're fascinating and make a movie about you!)

Not at all. One gal I know writes in her diary everyday. Once a friend had to go to court for something and Imo produced her diary for that month and found out WHEN her friend told her about the problem in question. It helped her friend's case.
Oh, and if you want to become a writer, keeping a diary or journal is a very useful tool. It helps you recognize potential plot ideas.

Keeping a diary is not lame. It's a good way to deal with things, work through issues and come up with alibis! LOL
Seriously, they are great to look at when you get older! See how far you've come.
Happy Holidays!

I've been keeping a diary/journal since 1991. It's amazing to go back and read what you wrote 16 years ago. Keep writing!

It is so cool to be able to look back years later and experience situations once again that you had long forgotten.
The most hyper-macho men and regular humans like the rest of us can benefit a lot from writing a journal/ diary.

I write a diary because I get things off my chest and clear my mind for the day. It's a wonderful tool for sanity!

It takes a lot of self control. Some days you'll go on and not enter things that happened and forget about them so you end up making something up to fill the gap. Go for it if it suits you.

No, keep them. They are good. It's the same concept of people praying. You look back to see your life over again and you can think and contemplate on your actions and reflect enjoyable moments.
