I have never in my life heard a bird snore. I'm not kidding, my little parrot is snoring. Have you ever heard a bird snore?
He must be exhausted:~)

I have raised quite a few exotic birds, macaws, cockatoos, african greys, conures, cockatiels, just never heard a bird snore before.
I can't believe what I'm seeing:~)

Bogey, after Humphrey Bogart is over 50 years old. He was willed to me when my good friend Pete passed away.

My husband has been out of town testifying in a trial for about three days, neither Bogey or I have slept very well. I think he is just intune to me and knows I'm tired too and simply feel asleep and started snoring. I called my husband and stuck the phone up where he could hear Bogey snore. My husband was laughing his butt off. He has assured me he will be home tonight. Finally, we will get a decent night's sleep. All three of us.

I do know all the warnings for a sick bird. I also know never to use teflon pans with a bird in the house, the vapors can and will kill your bird.
My husband lost his favorite bird "Fred", named after Fred Couples the pro golfer. We lost Fred because a teflon pan got to hot and poisioned him, made me deathly ill as well. Fred was a Blue and Gold Macaw which my husband had raised from an egg

LOL no...got hissed at yesterday by my neighbors cockatoo. She also has an Amazon I just adore. She has a bird radio that plays Jingle Bells and she was into it yesterday....lol...bang it and then hold it close to her head to listen...over and over and over......I do have 2 parakeets who sleep hanging up-side-down from the top of their cage. Never saw that before. I just love birds.

Do yourself a huge favor, and tape your parrot snoring complete with sound and send it to America's Funniest Animals.. Sounds like a hoot... oops that's an owl not a parrot.

I have never heard of that either. I hope nothing is wrong with him. Keep an eye on him just in case. He may have a breathing problem. If not, then this is really funny. I'm going to look this up. I'm curious now.

I couldn't get any info.

You parrot could have the need to have his/her sinuses flushed. I am serious. A friend of mine had to have her cockatoo's sinuses cleared. I have raised birds for many years and occasionally I have heard of this. They can be susceptible to mold, especially in moist conditions. BTW, my vet told me never to use corn cob bedding. He said that an cause breathing problems

That's not your parrot. You are hearing me. It is just being transmitted through your parrot. Kind of like a radio signal!

Of course, I have heard birds snoring. Funny to think about it, but true. Your not crazy and your bird isn't abnormal.
