I had a black MacBook and it's great! The only downside is that it gets your finger marks everywhere you touch it and you need to clean it frequently. But even tough, it doesn't get as dirty as the white one does.
In terms of use, I love Apple computers and the performance is really good. The new operating system, Leopard, has some amazing stuff that can make your life so much easier such as the new backup system! Better that all, it looks great!

Get the white. Most people get the white one. If you are going to go higher in price you might as well bite it and get the macbook pro.

new macbooks (with Intel chip) are the best laptop currently on the market.
Costs a lot though. With technology you get what you pay for.

Don't get a dell they are the worst.
If you don't mind the price of the Mac and can get used to using one, it maybe a good choose to go with.
My fav is HP, they are the best all around windows pc you could ever get.

I personally have a HP entertainment center laptop but i would like to get an Alain ware. they are the best for games but not that good for everything else.

definately go with the mac. It has so many more options than a regular pc. I would say go with white...it's still as good but costs less, so why not?

a really good laptop would be an alien ware but that is $$$, so maybe like an acer or Dell
