My husband plays in this indoor soccer league, and sometimes he doesn't shower so he likes to sleep on the coach..
I do not like it when he does this..at all.

I know that once in awhile it is fine, but what do you think?

I do not care if he doesn't shower.. once in awhile after a games if he is reallly tired. I will allow him to sleep on the bed if he lies a blanket down first.. but he insists on lying on the coach.

Which part don't you like? That he doesn't shower, or that he sleeps on the couch? Both? Would you be ok if he didn't shower and came to sleep in bed? If so, just tell him you're fine with it and you want him to sleep in bed whether or not he had showered. You have to speak up and let him know what's truly important to you. To some people, not sleeping together is no big deal; my parents have slept in separate bedrooms for years due to conflicting work schedules, and my husband and I each have our own bedroom because this is the arrangement we prefer. If it's important to you that he always sleeps in the same bed, communicate it to him; it's possible that it's just not such a big deal to him, and he doesn't realize you're stewing about it.

if this is really a big issue to you just tell him, ask him to take a shower after he plays, he is giving up his spot in bed with you so you cant exactly get a whole lot more out of him.

he doesn't want to shower so he sleeps on the couch? that seems a bit nasty to me. why wouldn't someone want to shower after running around and being sweaty?

tell him that your big man makes you feel so proud in his soccer league and that you would appreciate some snuggle time as soon as he showers....

O, for crying out loud, sweat dries. Besides if his coach doesn't mind why should you.?
