I'de love to read others ghostly experiences. I lived in an apt in Southern Calif in which lights would turn off and on for no explained reason, personal items moved from where I purposely left and marked in a specific area, our TV would suddenly and mysteriously change and turn on and off, and the most strangest of all were the apparitions that we could not explain away....We contacted our landlord many times and he had never recieved such complaints by other tenants in the adjointed apartments, however, he never hesitated to share the stories of other tenants who resided in our complex in the past.....Eerie~

Okay I have told this many times the last two years here but usually in the R&S or M&S section and many times since this section was opened.

It was either 1972 or 73, I was in my early 20's had been married a year or less and was living in this house where an old man had lived and died, he was very attached to that house.

I woke up one morning with a feeling I was being watched. I saw this old man standing at the foot of my bed watching me. At first I thought I was still asleep and dreaming so I sat up made sure I was awake and he was still there so I knew then someone had broke into my house and I started yelling for him to get out of my house, this woke my wife up and she saw him too and started screaming. Well I threw the covers off and started to get up and forcefully escort him out of the house when he pointed his finger at me and said,"NO! YOU, get out of MY house!" and then he just vanished.

I did not believe in ghosts and even though I saw him vanish into thin air I searched the house and found all doors locked and windows locked and no sign of anyone entering my home.

A high school friend was visiting his parents which lived across the street and I told him about it and he went inside and came out with a picture and asked me if that was the man and it was, he then told me that man died about 9 months before I moved in and loved that small house and no one else lived there longer than a month or so until I moved in. I was about the 7th renter in those months. I stayed there longer than anyone and the ghost did try to scare me again but this time it was just heard and not seen.

During this year i think it was the 20th of august i woke up at around 3 am to get a drink. On my way into the kitchen i saw a ghostly figure of a man. Once i had seen this i didn't freak out or anything i just simply went back into my bedroom and went back to sleep

After school had finished for that day i got into to my dads car and dad told me my Grandpa had died at around 2:30 am from a heart attack. I thought it was a rather strange coincidence

Since you haven't asked this before i will tell you though i have posted it a couple times before i just like sharing my experiences :)

Well this is the experience on how i got started in the paranormal as an investigator it is when i was younger and becoming an investigator is how i got affected later :

“I was six and lived in Trenton , MI . When the family and I were sitting on the living room couch watching TV, they all of the sudden heard a loud crash that sounded like glass breaking. We ran down stairs to find the remains a light bulb in swept into a dust pan with a broom standing next to it , between that experience many things happened in that home such as things flying across the TV stand onto the floor was one creepy experience.Another is when my mother one day was doing laundry and something screamed boo in her ear . What ever was there in the home struck me in the back with a shoving almost like a smack when i was sitting down and watching tv and shortly after My mom had told me at night she would hear footsteps around her bed at night on a daily basis.”

after that it opened my mind and have studied since !

spiritbo....that was an interesting story...I gave you a star for it. Would like to give Ryan one too. I'm pretty sure a couple or more places I lived in were haunted too. Wish I had realized that then...instead of becoming their "victim". I would have moved. I don't think it's healthy to stay in a place that has spirits watching you. Although...who knows...maybe there are spirits around us all the time watching us. You know how we're taught it 's your Guardian Angel? I think I'm not sure about that anymore.(that it was always my Guardian Angel.) I'm sure some of it wasn't. I bet the skeptics don't believe in Guardian Angels either. (I'm afraid to ask them!!)

I use to live in California. I lived in Sunnyvale for
a while and on many occasions visited the
haunted Toys-R-Us store. It was one evening,
my husband, daughter and myself were in the
store to buy a high-chair for my then toddler
daughter. Hubby was pushing the stroller and was
ahead of me. He turned the corner and I was
trying to catch up. Suddenly a ball fell off the
shelf bounced a few times, hit a display bike tire
and then rolled straight at me. I didn't wait around
to see anything else. Try talking to the entities
that live in your house.Maybe they will leave.

I lived in a house where two people died. One woman was murdered, and the other woman killed herself. I sensed another spirit in the house that was very hostile. I saw it one evening and it looked shadowy. Later, I dreamt of the woman who hanged herself in a bedroom closet. There were noises like scratching. Searched for things like rats but no luck. I am sensitive to spiritual phenomena, and it's not fun. It seems like your experience was paranormal in nature.

I bet your landlord saved a lot of money blaming bad wiring and other problems on ghosts.

Tennant: Mr. Landlord, the windows are drafty, there's never any hot water and the air conditioner doesn't seem to work.
Landlord: That's just because your apartment is haunted.

Did you hear about the magician who was walking down the street and turned into a drugstore?

That's a pretty cool-or scary- apartment. ;O

I've had a few, but none that are thart exciting. Just simple things like seeing my Grandfather, who sadly passed on a few years ago.
