I now have the PS3 and I love the traditional types of RPG games. PS2 had alot of good RPGs and I thought Sony would have provided them for the PS3. I don't want to have to shell out more big bucks for an Xbox 360 unless it would be a much better source for good RPGs.

The PS3 is the best console for RPG's. There aren't really any RPG's on the PS3 yet, but they are coming in 2008.

I know that Final Fantasy XIII is coming late next year, and Star Ocean 4 and White Knight Story are coming sometime next year as well exclusively on the PS3.

Also there is Final Fantasy versus XIII and that may come late next year or early 2009. The PS3 is the console to have for RPG's, It will just be a little while before they come out.

The PS3 is still going to have a lot more RPG than the 360. So far, only Folklore is considered an RPG, but that's about half of what the 360 has, and the 360 came out a year before the PS3.

The PS3 will be getting Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy vs. XIII, White Knight Chonicles, Eternal Sonata.

The one advantage that the PS3 has over the 360 is the Japanese support, and we know that Japan makes a lot of RPG. As long as Japanese gamers continue to ignore the 360, Japanese studioes aren't going to make any games for the 360.
