No ... but once you have the money you have to tell them and they will either cut back your assistance or stop giving it to you.

You pay into the welfare program with your taxes when you're working. I'm not sure, but some of the taxes they take from your inheritance might go towards it too :o) So you'll start paying them back when you work.

As soon as the person inherits the money, they MUST tell the welfare office. If they don't and they continue to collect assistance, then they will have to pay it back.

No, but they will no longer collect welfare or food stamps. If it is not reported the person will be charged with welfare fraud and will have to pay it back.

no but any future funds would be consider fraud and you can be fined and put in jail for that!!!
