There's a lot of different Linux distros, you should try a few of them and decide which one you like. Since you mentioned in your previous question that you only have 128MB of RAM, I suggest you go with either Damn Small Linux or Puppy Linux:

Puppy Linux:

A few other popular distros are:

Ubuntu:

Fedora:

Linux Mint:

Mandriva:

Go to www.ubuntu.com. It's a free download and Ubuntu is one of the more popular Linux distros out there.

Visit www.goodbye-microsoft.com and follow the on-screen instructions and you will have said goodbye to Microsoft for good.

By the way, it installs Debian on your system. Be warned that you will have to answer more questions than you will have to answer many of the other distros out there. But once you answer tham correctly, you can forget anything about configurations and stuff. It is like configure while you install and forget. After that, it just works.
