I've found mine but we grew up in Chicago and our mothers were born in the same city and our families Ended up in Houston.

I don't think there is a "soul mate" - but I think I have missed out on something that could have been so great. But that boat has sailed and all I can do is be myself and hope for the best. There are plenty of fishes in the sea and there has to be one that fits my personality and goals.

If you're truly "meant to be" with someone, the Universe will find a way to get you together. Happened to me twice, one was a soul mate teacher type, kept running into each other for years in the weirdest places... next was my hubby to be... the Universe really had it's work cut out for itself with THAT mission lol... but luckily it finally happened!!! We were always in the same place but arriving JUST AFTER the other had left...

Yeah, at Disneyland. She knew it was me when we were kids way back then, and she let me go without even asking my name. I don't care if I was only 7 and she was 11. She scrunched over on the curb so I could sit down and watch the Main Street Parade and we even spoke to each other. When it was over, the little B*tch let me get up and walk away. It took a long time, but our paths have crossed again and this time I never intend to let her go WOMEN

Weird that you mention that... 2 years ago I saw this guy at the movies, I had a bf at the time who I went with. Later on inn the evening I went to the grocery store and saw him there, we just smiled at each other. A week later I saw him at the mall and we just decided to get coffee and talk. We stayed as friends, up to this day, he's one of my best friends :)

Im with my soul mate, we have been best friends for 14 years and was in love for 10 years but didnt say anything to one another, now we have been together for 4 years and planning a wedding!

Possibly so but when the timing isn't right, it just isn't.
Maybe they still had unfinished issues to resolve, or you did.
When everything falls into place the right way- you will run into on another and feel like you've known them your whole life, by heart. Just be patient.

I feel like I could lose mine at any point. I have found her, but I am not sure her feelings for me are quite as string. She loves me, but it is hard to tell what is going to happen next.
