Oswald acted alone. There was no conspiracy. it has been proven beyond any doubt. The Warren Commission report, although not perfect, was pretty much correct.

If you read the book CASE CLOSED by Posner and watch the A&E documentary THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATION - BEYOND CONSPIRACY, you will find that a conspiracy theory, based on the evidence of the time and evidence made possible by modern technology (such as 3-D computer models) shows that there were no shots other than Oswalds.

I could list 1000 different reasons Oswald acted alone, but to keep it brief here are just a couple:

--- Oswald told people for months that he would become famous by killing an important person, and had even attempted to do that once before but failed.

--- Oswald started working at that building 5 months before it was even considered for JFK to go to Dallas.

--- The he-can't-fire-three-shots-that-quickly theory is silly. An 85-year-old man did it in the A&E special.

--- The Mob, the Cubans, the Russians - all rejected Oswald because he was unbalanced and violent. As the KGB agent said, "If we were going to find someone to kill Kennedy, would we have picked such an obvious person, someone who had publicly been to Russia and sent back?"

--- Although witnesses were confused (as you can imagine) the overwhelming majority of them pointed to the book depository.

The list foes on and on.

I used to be a big conspiracy buff - I read all the books and believed that one of them had to be true. Turns out that facts can be twisted a hundred different ways, but the cold, hard facts are that Oswald was an unbalanced man who happened to be in the right place at the right time to do a terrible thing.

It's been more than 40 years since it happened, and no real evidence has turned up to contradict the Warren Report. It's still somebody thought he saw something on the grassy knoll or heard what sounded like a shot on a primitive tape recorder. If there was a conspiracy, it was one of the greatest conspiracies in all of history. There was no way it could be hidden in an open society for this long. As unlikely as it seems, it was the work of a total loser with a World War I rifle.

The Zapruder film shows without any shadow of a doubt that JFK was hit by a bullet from the front right hand side. Oswald was supposedly behind him.

If Oswald shot him, then there had to be at least two people and therefore it was a conspiracy.

I believe the assassins were a combination of the CIA and the Mafia. But the cover up went right up to the vice President LBJ.

Obviously this cover up has continued to this day.

JFK junior supported Oliver Stone in making his film about the killing. He may have even thought about running for President himself until his plane "dropped like a stone" with the fuel valve turned off! into the Atlantic Ocean near Martha's Vineyard in 1999, Killing all on board. How convenient.

If you study Lee Harvey Oswald, you will find that he was indeed hired by the CIA. Not so much hired, as maintained. If you dig deep enough, you will also find contradictary evidence, as to where G.W. Bush was on that fateful day. According to the then CIA director, interviewed shortly after the assasination, stated that G.W. Bush, was indeed in Dallas, that day. Being the only person in the Government to have that knowledge, he was abruptly fired, and replaced with none other than G.W Bush. Coincidence, I think not. Statements made by the Dallas Doctor that treated the President, stated that someone reconstructed part of jfk's skull with makeup, and the "official autopsey" does not show all damage to the president's head. Indeed, the attending doctor says the photos were not authentic. Hopefully someday we will know the horrendous truth, and the Bush Regime will be brought to justice.

This is also why LB Johnson, would not run for re-election to president. He was too guilt ridden by what had transpired, to keep up the facad for another 4 years. Texas politicians pulled off an execution, and overthrow of the U.S. government, by the actions taken that fateful day in Dallas.

between the failings that save feeding the conspiracy frenzy, and rightfully so, is that an infamous Mafia hit guy became into picked up in the practice backyard in the back of the grassy knoll. Charles Harrelson, father of comedian actor Woody Harrelson (Cheers, Wag the canine, and so on) became into picked up jointly together with his better half (spotter) by ability of Dallas police, held for twenty-four hours, and then released. Harrelson would supply no answer to police, who appeared to get very excited that the adult adult males arrested, nonetheless claiming to be 'hobos' all had sort new shoes!

Jimmy "the Weisel" Frattiano claimed that Giancana (the then Boss of Bosses out of Chicago) gave the go ahead for Marcello (of New Orleans) to carry out the assassination. It involved Castro (who had a grudge after finding out the CIA was behind the Bay of Pigs Invastion) so he got a patsy (Oswald) from the Russians to carry-out the deed. Marcello's beef was a result of RFK's investigations into organized crime. To cover the link to the Mafia, Marcello had Jack Ruby (a two bit night club owner in the Marcello organization) take out Oswald to seal his lips.

Giancana's beef with JFK was his impression that JFK renigged on promises to leave the Mafia alone since he felt he pulled strings in Chicago to get him elected.

Several weeks before the assassination, Oswald met with Cuban agents in Mexico. For inexplicable reasons, the FBI agents who were following up the Cuban connection as a part of the Warren Commission investigation, were recalled

The lone gunman option. Channel 4 computer recreation solved the 'magic bullet' problem along with the incorrect assumptions regarding the firing times..... IF the lone gunman theory IS possible (and the C4 recreation showed that all the 'inexplicable' stuff that Oliver Stone et al put forward was in fact perfectly explicable) then it becomes easily the most straightforward solution and thus the choice using Occams Razor.....

I wish somebody would tell me why it is that the American people cannot leave the dead, dead? President Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis--these people and the circumstances of their deaths are repeated over and over again. There are some things that will never be answered. Whatever happened to the RIP that we used to see on tombstones? Know what that stands for? Rest In Peace. So let the dead rest.

The released footage shown in the film JFK starring Kevin Costner showed he was shot Kennedy was shot again from the front after he had been shot turning the corner in Dallas.

Amazing the American people accept their central government's insistence to keep top security files regarding the assassination secret for 70 years?
If they have nothing to hide they don't need to keep all quiet about it.
It's a good question.

I believe it was a conspiracy and that the government planted the blame on Oswald to try and close the matter without having to admit that they couldn't find who really did it.
