How do you mean? I've been on the pill for two years (taking it as prescribed) and I get mine during the placebo packs.

If you are meaning not taking the placebo week, you shouldn't be doing that for too long and you should have the OK from your DOCTOR when wanting to take your pills not as prescribed.

You could be getting your period.

If you don't take the contraceptive pill the lining of your womb builds up in preparation for pregnancy. If you haven't become pregnant by the end of your monthly cycle your womb will shed this lining in the form of blood. This is what we call your "period." When you take the contraceptive pill it fools your body into thinking it's pregnant, so even if you have unprotected sex, you can't get pregnant again. The lining of your womb, therefore, doesn't build up each month and you don't need to have a week's break each month. In fact if you are taking the "mini" pill you MUST take it all the time or there is a great risk of a real pregnancy. Doctors engineered the instructions for taking the "pill" to accommodate the fact that women don't feel right unless they have a monthly period. When you come off the pill for the seven days, what you actually experience is not a shedding of the lining of the womb but what they call a "withdrawal bleed." Which means it's your body's reaction to the withdrawal of the drug. Then you start the cycle again.

If you are on the combined pill then you need to have a 7 day break - you are only supposed to run 2 packs together. The pains suggest that there's a problem because you haven't had a break - i'd suggest you ring NHS direct and speak to a nurse or advisor who are v nice 08454647.
If you are on the mini pill - i.e. progesterone only then you don't need to have a break.

You could be on the wrong pill. Call at your GP's surgery and tell him.

you should only ever take 3 packs straight after each other than have your week break. longer tha this may cause problems, or even infection. if the pains continue, i would seriously consider going to the doctors
