OK, I'm bookmarking these answers so I can look up some of these bands myself. I haven't heard of many of them.
I'm old - so I don't tend to like most of the stuff I hear nowadays. About the only ones listed so far that I've heard and liked are Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters.
I like some of The Killers stuff, but the rest of it makes me want to slap the lead singer in the back of the head. How can you be smug and whiny at the same time?
