I'm a retired teacher; I love to sing and so do many of the elderly who live here. I've tried everything I could think of to find and hire a part-time choral/choir instructor to help us develop some harmony and to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

Try asking your local church or school directors they usually love to help. Maybe you could do it. Give it a try you will never know until then.

Talk to some of the churches in your area. I know many of the older members of our church choir are very talented singers. If they are retired they might have the time to help with your choral group at the retirement complex.

oes your local university offer noncredit classes just for education? Where my mom lives the commounity college offers community classes. I would check there for a choral director or a community center.
