I hate the polishing too! I make them give me laughing gas.
ETA: Never got sick, but when I was in braces, I was lucky enough to see the kid in the next chair hurl all over my orthodontist. He deserved it, in retrospect.

The smell of his office, it really freaks me out and makes me sick.
Luckily I have never thrown up at the dentist *knock on wood*

I love the polishing, in fact ; it is my favourite part. I dislike the scaling just before the polishing.. I have sensitive gums.

my parents are dentists so.....
but yes i can't stand the smell of polishing too.
just remember that the dentist can have some patients that are not the best .........i saw some annoying greedy people...ohhh

i hate the shots and the x-rays,it sucks because i have to go every single month because of my braces.oh and no,i've nver threw up at the dentist
