i love watching people's faces when someone says this to them ... they drop. :(
i will sometimes say: your eyes look tired, that way it does'nt sound like, wow! go take a nap, you look like s#@t

No, it doesn't bother me when people say that. Usually I really am so it's ok. It does, however, bother me when people say I look Eastern European. That's just an insulting way of saying I don't get out in the sun much. For a Native American that cuts deep.
