Man we got some old folks here.
I thought Dave Garaway,Jack Parr and the old Today show went way back but I think Crusader Rabbit was one of the first TV cartoons on TV.
Of course I do predate TV and Mickey Mouse was in the movies.Ya,I even go back to radio, pathetic.

I remember Kukla, Fran and Ollie, Les Paul and Mary Ford, Liberace, Arthur Godfrey and Julius La Rosa and I remember him getting fired, but if I actually saw it I don't remember.
I remember the Ann Southern Show, both Private Secretary and the one that came after that. Also My Little Margie and Gale's Storm's next series, Oh Susanna!
Remember Jack Benny, Red Skeleton, Burns and Allen, The Colgate Comedy Hour and Sid Ceasar and Imogene Coca as well as Jerry Colonna who I had a big crush on as a little girl!
Doctor Hudson's Private Journal, The Hit Parade, Gerry Moore and Studio One among other things.

Kukla, Fran, and Ollie was my favorite. I loved Captain Kangaroo, too. I fancied myself in love with Mr. Moose. I never missed RinTinTin either and used to wear my brother's Cub Scout kerchief and pretend to be one of the troops! I did see Julius LaRosa get fired, too. I thought he was really cute! I watched As the Wrold Turns, too. And Queen for a Day. Soupy Sales was on when I came home from school for lunch. I don't think he was National, though. My whole family always sat down to watch Father Knows Best.
Thanks for the Q!

Betty White (Golden Girls) was on a program from Hollywood back in the 50's with Al Jarvis. He was a radio personality and they had a TV program that was several hours long (or seemed to be). She was just as cute and charming then as she is now. I cannot remember the title of the show. I remember the ones you named. We were Arthur Godfrey fans.
