When you say "very developed," do you mean TOO developed for your liking? I notice that you didn't say whether or not you want your breasts to return to their previous size.
Anorexia is very much about distorted self-image, and if you secretly dread becoming "very developed" again, it could undermine your recovery. So, be sure to discuss this with the doctor.
Yes, your breasts will grow again. Your body will replace both fat and lean muscle tissue, but not evenly. That's okay because you didn't lose tissue evenly in the first place. The fat cells that were depleted first will be restored first.

just b/c you have chemo treatments doesn't mean your going to lose your hair. The same goes for an eating disorder. I was anorexic for 6 years and didn't suffer any of the POSSIBLE symptoms/problems, asside from the lack of fat. Actually, I had problems with my first two pregnancies (miscarried) and my doctor believes it's b/c of my previously malnourished body causing permanent damage to my reproductive system, even though I still had my period. Problems with nourishment can cause problems with vital organs/ and hormones, which might explain your ever growing bust. 64 pounds isn't normal past being 10 years old. You have a problem. You need to except what your doctors/ counselors are saying. I understand if you aren't ready to except that you have a problem, I was in COMPLETE denial for the first 4 years of my anorexia struggle. (well, my self image will always be a struggle, but you learn to eat, accept how you're built, and.......a lot of work goes into overcoming an eating disorder) Good luck and ask your closest friends their personal opinions. If they are your true friends, they will tell you how they see you, as healthy or not.

depends on your body.
When you put your body into starvation mode the first thing it did was take from your food-storage system-i.e. fat cells....boobs are fat storage centers as well as the stomach.
The second thing your body would do is make MORE fat cells so that it would have more of a storage system for next time it entered starvation, only the body prefers to keep the supplies close to the vital organs so it tends to make more fat in the stomach area.
These will be the first stores that the body will fill...don't over eat, healthy eat, but your boobs may come back, may not. it all depends on when your body will decide it has enough in the fat cells to begin to redistribute stuff.
Good luck...I've been told anorexia is like alcoholism--once an anorexic always and anorexic, now you live to maintain and fight it.

they should increase in size as you gain weight. But there are lots of ways that you could have damaged your body by being anorexic. You would need to ask your doctor if you permanently damaged anything that would cause you not to develop normally.

yes they most likely will. They may not go exactly back but remember that men love a full figured woman. Not fat but full figured. So while i can't promise you 9lbs of boobs, if you gained a little more weight and you should eventually get it back.

Hello,
Your breasts are nothing but fat, don't like fat and you can not like your chest.
Put weight back on and your chest will gain back that fat that they need. Though you want all that weight back on. Why bigger girls have big chest sizes. That is real chest, not those plastic/ cosmetic ones.
A skinny gal with big boobs makes me laugh. Obviously fake.
