It would be a cold day in hel* before I ever left my daughter have a live in boyfriend. Thank God I have plenty of time before there is even a boyfriend in the picture! She's only 7!

Hellll no. I got pregnant and married at 16 lasted a little over 3 years I missed out on sooo much. But I love my baby girl. anyway if my parents took a little effort in givin me a little discipline and cared who i was with and where i was my life might have been a little or actually a lot different. Very bad idea. She shouldn't even be with a 19 years old there are things he will be able to do and things like sex he will want to do. The whole things is a very bad idea. He could be arrested for that. and I would threaten to do so if he came near my daughter.

I'll be blunt, as in MY opinion, this situation calls for it. Details and excuses are all I see here. Ok, here's how *I* see it: Birth control fails and people have been known to walk away from responsibility, leaving their offspring with their "parental units". I don't know how old YOU are, but my guess is that neither your daughter, nor you, are ready for that reality. Also, I'm guessing that, in about a good portion of the U.S., your daughter is considered a minor, Wonder if they toss a parent in jail for allowing this type of behavior? Responsible or not, who's the adult here, you or the minor girl/young man involved? Okay, so she'll hate you. Better to hate you now and forgive you later rather than allow her a lack of bounderies and leave her to wonder why you did so, when she's old enough to remember your doing so. Eh, if I were you, I'd err on the side of caution, tell her hell no and slap her *** in a chastity belt! But then that's me, with three adult children and two grandkids, neither one of them having been popped out by a teenaged girl. Good luck with this situation, you're gonna need it!

Definitely not. That's not to say it doesn't happen all the time. My mom let my boyfriend stay at my house when I was 15. I look back now and wonder what the hell I was doing, but more importantly, what the hell my *mother* was doing agreeing to this kind of situation. And contrary to popular belief, it's not only,"stupid white trash" who do the live-in boyfriend/girlfriend situation. I've noticed it happens a lot with spoiled kids. Parents afraid of saying no to their kids or wanting to be their friend. Take Jamie Lynn Spears and her mom. You know the daughter makes more money than the mother and we see how the older one acts--The mom is happy anyway because she's making a lot of money off of her children. In her mind, she does what her kids want her to do/accepts their mistakes or else she doesn't get paid.

Well since here at 16 you have graduated and are perfectly legal yes... I wouldn't like it but as long as she finished school and he treated her good then why not? I moved out of my parents house at 15 and lived with random people and friends I barely knew at least in that case I would know where she was and safe. Something my parents never did ...
I think people on here are lying .... Most of my friends growing up moved out very young say between the ages of 13 and 17, their bfs lived with them, and they had children .... And one of my best friends at 16 married a 23 year old guy and her mother allowed this! They weren't white trash amazingly ...

These people are all saying no,
but if push came to shove and the 16 year old daughter was going to move out on her own, they'd bend and allow the 19 year old to live there.

hell no!! I wouldn't even let the guy stay over and sleep in the same bed unless they were engaged or married!! That is just the way I was taught. Some parents just don't have good morals when they allow things to happen.

Just to add my voice to the throng... NO. I wouldn't let my 19 year old daughter have a 21 year old live in boyfriend either. If they want to sleep together, they can do it somewhere other than my house.
