Once you delete a document it is gone forever.
If you want them off the computer but saved for later you should copy them to a disk.

Documents are stored on the hard drive on the computer that you are using. So, if you rent a computer, the document will be stored on that computer. The only information that you can retrieve once you get your own computer back is on the "net" (i.e., Yahoo mail).

When you have a rented computer, make sure that you save the documents you want to something that you can transfer the info back onto your own computer. A CD, DVD or flash drive would all be good to back this info up to.

I'm not sure I understand this question.

If you have documents on a rented computer, you need to back them up to a CD or a flash memory device before you delete them from the rented computer. Then simply copy them from the storage device to your computer.

You need to study the concept of making backups in a form that can be read by some other computer.

Data can be copied to a diskette, tape, CD Rom.
However, can both computers process the same kind of media?
Also some backup processes put the data in a form that can only be read by the same software used for the backup ... it cannot be read by some other computer.
This is good for security, but inconvenient if both computers being used by same person.

They're gone forever. Just save the documents you want to keep to a USB drive then you can transfer them to your computer when your get it back.

No, you will need to back your data up to an external medium of some type or another. CD will work, so will a thumb drive or an external hard drive. Then you will be able to drag the data back to "your" computer.

Delete means gone, period. Your files will not magically reappear if you delete them...that would be very bad....
