If he gets the nomination, maybe. Im registered Republican, but Obama is more logical than any others at this point. It could all change down the road. If HIllary gets the nomination I will probably vote Republican. Many people in my family, past and present, have made a living in the military. And Republicans tend to look after military, current, former, retired, etc, better than Democrats. HIllary will be bad for that just like her husband. When Bill Clinton was in office, he ruined the military by downsizing. Cut funding dramatically and reduced the Army from 18 divisions to 10 division! Almost half! The Marines were equipped with not new equippment, but hand-me-downs from the Army. Also current military personnel's pay was reduced, along with veterans benefits (retired and disabled). Many people praised him for getting us out of debt, but at the expense of our military, and others. After 9/11 we struggled to build our military back up to logical standards in order to support Afghanistan and also ensure increased security in our own country. On health care, people are scared she will integrate a socialized health care system like Canada. Health insurance isn't that expensive, unless you wait until you have severe health problems or pop kids out left and right, and then realized you have to pay for 6 or 7, as opposed to 2 or 3. Americans enjoy being able to see whatever doctor they want, including specialists, whenever they want., instead of being put on a long waiting list. Those are just a couple of issues but like I said, things can change down the road. This far, no Republicans have really impressed me, and the most logical Democrat is Obama. As far as his past, everyone makes mistakes, thats life. It doesnt make him incompetant.

Not- Earlier this year when he said that he will go after Pakistan if they dont help, put a stop to my consideration for him. He clearly does NOT have enough experience, he forgot that Musharaff has help USA to fight against terror.. As much help as he is offering his help with as many problems in his country is enough. For him to say something like that shows he has no experience. & at this time, I dont want a trainee on the job. & also his wife is no "first lady" material. She doesnt' think before she speaks.

No way. He scares me. He is too secretive about his past, doesn't have the leadership experience, and I think he is a closet Muslim. I have no doubt that he would move America away from support of Israel, and cause or at least not prevent worse terror threat than we have now, either by not working against terrorist nations or upsetting alliances (such as with Pakistan) that are fragile now.

It doesn't help that Oprah is endorsing him, that chick is crazy!

I'm considering it. I intensely dislike Hillary and don't trust her for a second. Obama has been honest, and personally I trust him a lot more than her.

no, as a staunch conservative voting for him would violate my principals... he has limited experience and his vision is as limited as well....... our naion is in bad enough shape as it is......vote for ron paul......he will continue to bring our nation to the level of strength that we need to be going to-to continue to be the best nation in the world.
