I just started a new pill (Cilest) and I decided to really do some research on the pill mostly on the side effects and a lot of women said they got pregnant while taking it ... So I was just wondering if anyone knew how many women really do get pregnant while taking the pill?

Generally 2 in every 100 women taking the pill will get pregnant.
This is, of course, based on proper use of the pill.

NOTHING is 100%, so taking ANY contraceptive as directed will only protect you 99% of the time. There is always that 1% chance you can become pregnant.
Women have gotten pregnant even when taking their pills exactly as prescribed.

They say 3/10% It is 99.7% effective. But my next door neighbor had her baby on the pill, so for her it was 100%

I've known a few women who have. A couple used antibiotics without realizing they screwed it up. And one claims she used it perfectly and still got pregnant! Take all the precautions you can but sometimes...it's gonna happen.

Always use back up method and take the pills AS DIRECTED meaning no other meds and on time EVERYday..

my mother got pregnant with my brother while on the pill and that was in '70

I KNOW ALOT OF PPL THAT GET PREGO TAKING THE PILL THERE IS NOT ONE BIRTH CONTROL THAT IS A 100% SO IF U AINT TRYNA GET PREGO JUST BE CAREFUL

I did , because i was taking an anti-biotic which depleted the BCP.
