Yes. I had a poopy baby and I forgot diapers so I had to stop and buy some. I realized I didn't have my wallet and apparently the baby stunk so bad they let me get the diapers and told me to come back the next day to pay for them.

When I was pregnant with my third child I decided to go grocery shopping. I took my other two with me, they were 1 and 2 at the time. I was pregnant and I wasn't thinking clearly. I get to the register and put all my stuff up there, which was a cart full and the cashier rings it all up. It was over $200 and I realized I didn't have my purse, wallet, nothing. So I asked her to set it all aside, which completely pissed her off. I went to get in my car and realized that's where my purse was with my keys, wallet, etc and the doors were locked. I finally was able to call my husband on the stores phone and he came to the rescue. It was awful. The kids were screaming by then and here I was some huge pregnant chick wobbling around....I never did that again!!

That happened to my husband yesterday. We had gone shopping at the mall and when we got home, I realized that we didn't have any TP and napkins, so I had him go to Target and buy some. While he was there I called him and asked him to get me some tampons, feminine wash and pantyliners. He was upset that he had to get them, after a while I realized he got home empty handed. When I asked for the stuff we has so upset and told me that he wasn't going back. He said that he felt embarrassed after realizing that he had forgotten is wallet and everyone behind him just stared. He never went back. (found the wallet in the diaper bag!!)

Back in 2000, I went to KMart, wrote a check to pay for about $60 worth of stuff. Bank system in the cash register said "Call supervisor." They ran that check thru about 3 times, and it would not go thru. Turns out, they'd worried about the Y2K bug, had messed with their computers, trying to head off any trouble. Had done something (I don't know what) & their system would not recognize my checks.

Had to use a credit card, and suffer the embarrassment of all the folks in line behind me. Sheesh! Manager treated me like cr__. I even went to the bank, a bank official wrote a letter that said my account has always been in good standing. I gave it to the KMart manager, asked him to read it. "Whatever...." he said, and shoved it back at me, unread. His attitude made me very angry.

Since then, I went a mile further, to shop at WalMart. They used the same system, but hadn't messed with their computers, and my checks went thru just fine.

Now, new manager at KMart. I do shop there again, as it is far more convenient, and they have a better assortment of merchandise. They have fixed their computer, so my checks are good there, again.

Yes this happened sat. I was in sears Christmas shopping. Got to the register. It rang up to be $413.00 and some change. All I had was 200 dollars in cash but i thought i had my credit card. I left the stuff there to go look in the car and it wasn't there. So with all these people in line i had to decide what to put back and what to get. I about died.

Oh, yeah! I was at the grocery store and had a FULL cart of groceries! I had to tell the mgr I'd be right back! I don't think he believed me, but he put my cart by the office. I ran home to get my cash, and did go back to get my food!

yes. dont remind me. has happened more than once. but the worst was when buying groceries, like one hundred dollars worth, and after spending like two hours in the supermarket carefully selecting my items, when i went to pay, they said my card has no funds. i did not know what to do then, so i ran out of the store and never came back.
