What are the symptons?
I have really irregualr periods, always have done! I dont really want to go on the pill as ive heard it can make you gain weight, and am rather weight conscience. Do this make me more unfertile? help...

PCOS needs to be diagnosed by your doctor, but your blood sugar plays a big part in it. From my experience, being on the pill does not effect it either way.

You have to go see your doctor and he will run some tests to determine if this is your problem. You do NOT have to go on birth control for PCOS and also birth control is not what makes you gain weight. Often times it is the side effect of increased appitite for some pills that causes the weight gain.

polycystic ovarian disease can only be diagnosed thru testing, usually an abdominal ultrasound. See a doctor.
