I have to write about of one my favorite musical pieces. I chose an instrumental one. Here's the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX671ppEInE

I think there's a piano, a chello/violin? a flute? This is an Indian piece and I'm not sure what the Indian version of a flute might be? I think I heard a chello or violin but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have to talk about the piece in terms of its texture, rhythm, melody ect. and if I know about the instruments, I think it would help.

Thanks! :)

Steel guitar?? Dobro?? I think not. What there is:

Piano
Synthesizer (very good string sounds)
Flute
Whistle/panpipes
Female voice
Drum machine (heartbeat and other sounds)

What I heard were, first of all the standard string group: violins(1st & 2nd), violas, cellos and double bass. And if I'm not mistaken, a plucked double bass. Or this possibly could have been a recording of half a "real" heart beat.

Piano, naturally. Guitar. And again, if I'm not mistaken, a "recorder"(or flute or piccolo): hard to tell.

Piano, and a synthesizer, which sounds like a srings section/flute. And a drum machine.

it wouldn't be a flute, possibly a piccolo, or panflute type thing.

Piano and synthesized strings. The heart beat is probably synthesized.

The 'flute' sounds like a synthesized tin whistle (or penny whistle).
