With the explanation that the court order did not cover those tapes because the court order only covered the detainees at Hotel Gitmo, when these interrogations were conducted in CIA secret over-seas prisons after GWB has repeatedly denied the existence of such prisons, I find it hard to believe that it was anything but deliberate.

It's more than a little suspicious that tapes of the very practice in question were destroyed for "security reasons".

Hopefully that is a sign that all the attention has forced them to clean up their act.... but I'm skeptical.
