I got a laugh about the food answers. Because it is so true. Anything or any card is enough and reminds a man of what he has at home. The best thing and coolest thing I ever got from my wife. She went out and got some actual stationary and wrote an actual letter that was sealed with wax and had a ribbon. Think of the days of say Napoleon and Josephine. A true love letter. Think of previous wars where mail was not received for a long time. There was no email and phones. So one poured their heart out. When I recieved a letter from my wife all of my team mates would wish that they had gotten the same.

Well, being that you're his wife, I would think that you would know what he likes, not the YA people....
Something always nice are things like a new watch, clothes, etc... Stuff that he can always use.
