He's a beautiful soul. His words are not from this world. They're Devine. To read and understand him is to reach the depths of our existence... It's to whirl like a dervish in the essence of humanity, love and peace.
With each word, he polishes the beautiful core we all have and when you read him and get him, you shine from the inside out.
Dr. Deepak Chopra has researched and recorded a series of his poems to soothe the soul. It's a very nice compilation. I wish there were more writers who would stir the soul to peace and love and humanity. We need a Renaissance of sorts to get back to substantive writing like his. We need more civility, respect and peace in this world. Now more than ever.

I will read about this man Rumi. I will admit that he is not known to me. And this is the first time that I have heard of his name.

I do know that Turkey is a moderate and tolerant Islamic state If only by appearances and pretenses, Gee I wonder how many billions of dollars we pay them off with? 10 billion per year for the Pakistani's.

So, if they start fighting for rights to the land, should we give them land, or should we give them back to their land, the land of their parents who illegally came in the first place then cried "foul no fair?"

All Muslims need practice restraint, tolerance, and concepts of life, irregardless of what name the fanatics of Moamud, The Sudanese, "Teddy Bear Prophet".
