You can bring a sweater to an office, or a vest. Here, people are beginning to expect 100% COMFORT to their tastes... and don't adjust to what people had done for YEARs... bring a sweater/vest or thicker dress-jacket, in the winter.
Everyone bickers about either being too hot or cold, and drive the Office Manager nuts about adjusting the thermostat --- let me give you solid advice. It's FAR FAR better to have air, than not have air... right now, our office is stagnant, because people are 'chilly' if the air is on -- AT ALL. So, because there aren't any drafts... and because the heat thrown from the PCs, coffee and vending machines, copiers, lighting, people, etc keep it warm enough, we get NOTHING.
It's far easier to BREATHE when it's a little cooler, than when you have dry-air and 85-88 degrees constantly... because people are 'chilly' when others are sweating through their shirts.
(PS - grow a set)

You have evil spirits living under your desk, and when they manifest themselves, they drain all the heat and energy from the space around them.
