Yeah. everytime i went on the home page it said "jamie lynn spears pregnant!!!!" or something. I don't think it is selfish. it's just to think that people like britney and paris hilton are some girls roll model's it's just sad. I think roll model's shouuld be some one who has not been arested for D.U.I. or who does drugs. ect. i know contracption only goes so far. I do feel bad for girls who do get pregnant and can't take care of it or there family won't let her keep the baby. it just doent' set the best exsample for girls. I am Sorry if i affended anyone. That was not my intetion. i just find it odd

1. She has become a commodity to the studios, as an actress, with staff support and budget considerations, and now she can't be so freely promoted, so her value will decline to the contract.
2. Because a 16 year old is sexually active, it is her own responsibility to choose, and use effective birth control. Get naked with any young man, it is always a risk.
3. The lies and hidden information like fallen leaves obscure the issues from view. A pregnancy means a lifetime of parental commitment. Or the hidden alternative.
4. Or a very large dependence on the public, which is always less than loving when forced to pay for another's sins, even sins of omission.

I care because it is a poor reflection of our society and cultural values when a young girl is pregnant. The lack of caring on peoples' part is what create the norms that is okay to be 16 years old and pregnant, when in fact it is certainly not. If more people did care that 16 year old girls aregetting pregnant, it wouldn't be as acceptable and shouldn't be acceptable. In this situation, though, it is extremely unfortunate that a role model to young girls is pregnant. Someone needs to teach these girls about birth control and the consequences of having premarital sex.

Yes it is true. Not only was it confirmed by TMZ, a real factual celebrity gossip site, Nickeloden, as well as Jamie Lynn Spears. She will be on OK! magazine later this week talking all about it.
Isn't she supposed to be a role model for kids with her show Zoey 101? I say less than two weeks until that show is cancelled. But she's getting knocked up at 16? Her parents must be proud that they created two trainwrecks.

well because she is on a show on Nickelodeon and is supposed to be a role model for kids. Most kids who watch "Zoey 101" are probably ages 7 to 13. So yeah its a shock, but I guess this day in age it shouldn't be... But to me a 16 year old is a baby and I am 23. I could not imagine having a child and being one at the same time.

They're saying "OMG she's pregnant," because she's 16. We should care that 16 year olds are getting pregnant. You'll feel the same way when your high schooler could have the possibility of getting pregnant. Even if you teach them contraceptives and everything, adolescents can still choose to defy you. Only parents can understand circumstances like these.

ok, i'm no one to judge all of us, yet would somebody please tell me why Lynne Spears thinks she would desire to positioned out a parenting e book? I advise she has performed so great with Britney and Jamie-Lynn, no longer! Britney is uncontrolled and Jamie-Lynn is pregnant at age sixteen! it somewhat is merely insane, needless to say her mom and dad weren't conserving a particular eye on her. Oh yeah, if her boyfriend is nineteen, it somewhat is rape... yet needless to say she found out alot from her sister. BTW.. sure she is pregnant.

i'm just annoyed cuz she's the star of Zoey 101, a program aiming at pre-teens. potraying something oppose to tht in real-life just sets a bad example for kids tht watch tht show. now some of them might think, 'who cares if i get preggo at 14??, jamie lynn spears got preggers at 16!'
not to mention, she used to give an interview saying she's not going to be like her sis. but then again, if youre brit's sister, you gotta do something to get some attention.
