What was the call made between Timmie (Tommy Rettig) and Porky on the Lassie show and what did it mean?

This was used by one or both characters and held some sort of meaning. The "sound" was something like "Eee-Yaw-Kee". I'm also interested in any other meanings of this expression. Did the call go on with the series after Tommy Rettig left.

I always thought it was "Kee Yaw Kee" Actually the first owner was Jeff; and it was Jeff and Porky's code with what I believe had no meaning other than it was their identification to each other.

It was more a stylized call. There are a number of things that are used because that's how the animal was trained.
