I hate it when that happens because when there's more than one answer I think deserves the 'Best Answer' award, I don't know what to do.
I rarely put answers for vote becuase I've noticed (I don't know if it's just me) but for some reason when answers are put to vote, the most idiotic, useless and unhelpful answer is voted as 'best answer' has anyone else noticed that?
So what do you useually do when you can't decicde which answer deserves the 'Best Answer'?

great point.... and there are many people that deserve credit. It is good to see some that is thining and trying to imporve this place. Hope the monitors check you comment and come up with a solution in 2008.

What drives me even crazier, like you, is when a 'best' answer is so obviously wack and I wonder if it's just a way to rack up points. (Uh, oh--here I'm thinking there's conspiracy afoot at Yahoo! Answers and how could such things be?)
Sometimes the answers are all so good, I just go by when the answer with the best information was posted and the number of misspellings. Since there's this handy little 'Check Spelling' button that's not hard.

If I know the person I chose, I usually give 'her' the points. If I don't know any of the people, I usually go with whomever came up with the first Best Answer, assuming there were several.

Yes i do, but what i tend to do is pick the person who answered first with the best answer. It is kind of frustrating, wish you could pick more than 1
