I warn you, I sing out of key, but I sing with much sentiment.
So how would you welcome someone like me?

How about a nice cup of hot chocolate, and some homemad cookies?

Back when I was first married in the 80's, we would get together with three other couples and go caroling. But first, for the four Fridays before we went caroling, we would get together and rehearse. And since four of the people involved actually were musicians, it sounded pretty good! Four part harmony, the whols schtick.

Then we would go out and carol at our friends and families houses, and do the whole street.

We did this for three years. At each stop, we would be greeted with...ah...beverages. After the first year we rented a van, and had a designated driver since we got completely sh!tfaced.
Ahh, the good old days

hmmmm..... I would show with the Community Authorities and have them sing the carols back to you! I hope, after that, you will never show, trying to sing the carols!! Merry Xmas Alikaki!!

I'd show with a bottle of Jim Beam. I hate Christmas music, and a professional singer -- I am not. But with a half gallon of good ole' Jim under our belts, I figure I can listen to anything for a minute and I expect that also by that time, we'd both be sounding pretty d*mn good!!!

Well....I was going to say that if you were off key, I might have to have the ear plugs handy because my ears are well trained musically. But, if you sounded sentimental enough, I am sure I would probably like it.

Once you came to my door, you will be considered as my guest. Thus I will put a big smile on my face, hear your song patiently then I would take my ear plugs off.
