You find a curmudgeony old coot who's long forgotten the spirit of Christmas, and put him under a cardboard box propped up with a stick. For some reason, the Spirit is drawn to those who've forgotten or rejected it (like some people I've dated in college), and will approach said curmudgeony old coot. When it does so, pull on the stick (with string, hook, whatever), and you will have trapped it. For an extra $50, the coot will hammer it senseless with a petrified fruitcake, and voila! You've achieved your task.

Go to the mall.....Christmas music playing, people shopping...
Make you house look like Christmas inside and out.
Go to church, it is beautiful.....with the children doing plays,
and the true meaning of Christmas.
It's really hard when you are alone with your Christmas tree,
etc.......that's when I turn the music up!!!
Mmmmm...you made me feel better......Lol

even my 11 year old is finding that xmas is not like it used to be.

i'm not sure how it "used to be"

but for some reason, it doesn't seem like christmas here.

is the spirit gone? or is it just sleeping? how do we wake it up?
