Giving a gift that someone truly enjoys, and seeing the appreciation. Taking the time to have a special evening with a lover. Adopting a dog from the local animal shelter. Being able to enjoy a glass of whisky with friends and family. Knowing I helped someone who needed help. Being myself, knowing myself, and being happy with myself in my own skin.
Goofing off with friends. Taking my dog to the dog park, waking to the feel of a lover's body against mine. The smell of coffee in the morning. The soothing feeling of wonton soup on a sore thoat.
Sun rises, sunsets, memories, old photographs, beer, small batch bourbon, prime rib on Christmas day when we're all tired of turkey, a good glass of wine.
The discovery, upon waking, that my dog has pressed against me to guard me. Watching my dad's cat flop over on his side when I start scratching the right spot.
Many, many things. Life is an adventure, enjoy it.
