I've been telling the wife for 5 months I want a new [another] motorcycle for Christmas.
Her argument is that I've got enough so I've just took one around to my mates to keep in his garage a bit and I'll tell the wife I've sold it.
If this works I'll get it back after Christmas and say the buyer didn't like it so I bought it back.
This isn't me being greedy, in Oct she had a new car [57plate]
UPDATE
My mates wife has asked my wife how long my bike is going to be stuck in their garage, so that plan has failed.
I should have started my schemes earlier, there's not enough time time now, bet I end up with socks.

When I was about 11/12 I REALLY wanted a leather jacket for my birthday. I opened all my presents and it wasn't there and even though I got some great things, I was really gutted. However, the last thing for me to open from my parents was my card and there was an IOU inside saying IOU one leather jacket. I was so happy!

My parents asked me what do I want and I said if they wanted to give me something useful they could just give me the money and I´d use it to pay rent and get trought Christmas.
So they´ve done that :)
