Go to http://belarc.com and download their free Advisor program. Run it and it will give you a detailed report on the hardware, software, patches, security, serial numbers, etc of your PC. Everything you could possibly want to know. And it will be more up to date the Dell or Nvidia, which can only list the standard configuration when the PC was shipped, not what it currently has on it.

Windows-Break (hold the Windows key down while pressing the Pause|Break key top right)

Depending on XP or Vista, click through a combination or Hardware and/or Device Manager to get to the list of devices.

This does not give you very much info, doesn't tell you all the specs on your machine like RAM type and amount, etc. For that use Belarc Advisor.

Don't know what version of Windows you are running but go to the start button, then control panel, then system, then click on tab which says device manager, there you will find all the hardware on your machine. Cheers, Gizz.

You could try looking at the drivers and that should tell you what hardware you have installed. Or better still open up your PC and take a look.

Click on control panel, then on system, then divice manager.
You see all sort of hardware installed. Click the one you want to see and then click properties. You will know what peripheral is attached to your computer.
