Got this by email a while ago. True?
PLEASE, respectful opinions toward Jews + Muslims. There’s enough hatred in the world already.
“Disgrace for England!
In England every memorial of the holocaust has been removed from the schools study programs, arguing that it hurts the Muslim population that denies the holocaust
That is… terrifying evidence of how easily countries can give in to anti-Semitism.It has been more than 60 years since the end of World War 2 in Europe as England didn't lift a finger to save the Jews that were Butchered by the Germans and now they are Boycotting Israel Academy and removing the Holocaust from the schools study programs
Let us remember those 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1900 catholic priests, that have been murdered, raped, burnt, starved to death, and humiliated by Nazis.
Considering the efforts of Iran and others denying the Holocaust, it is crucial to do whatever it takes to ensure that the World never forgets."

Kev: there is no link for this info. Got it by email, as I said. That's why I'm asking if it's true.
Whether true or false, I definitely would like to see a trustworthy source to refer to.
Hope somebody can provide that. "Not true" isn't enough.

again, IT IS NOT MY OPINION!!
What part of "Got this by email" didn't you read?
What part of "is it true?" (question) didn't you read?
How am I supposed to know if I don't ask?
-Got this by e-mail
-It had no source
-NONE OF IT is my opinion
-I'm asking what the truth is
Good gracious. Some people seem to be just unnecessarily sensitive. How is that reasonable?

Sounds like shite to me.
There is no way on this planet that you could remove any mention of the Holocaust from a modern history course. To remove it would be akin to giving in to Holocaust deniers and leaving out one of the most pivotal events of the Second World War from the history books.
And no self respecting teacher would stand for it.
What the hell is Israel Academy anyway?
All in all it sounds like someone with a little bit of knowledge getting the wrong end of the stick.
Err, and what, I wonder, does the writer of the original piece think the British (it's not just bloody England that fought in that war!) could have done about extermination camps in eastern Germany and Poland? Hundreds of miles inside German territory.
Still, I know it's not your piece. I do think the bit about schools is rubbish, though.

It's an urban myth, from an chain email letter that circulates I've a link here.
http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/historical/a/holocaust_chain.htm
I hear one European country did remove it. The UK has too many Jews to cave in to that, and their banks totally hold up our economy.
Are they going to remove all mention of the 'other' holocaust that Muslims deny? You know, the murder of over a million Armenian Christians about ninety years ago, by the Turks. How about the murder of tens of millions of Hindus in Pakistan and India when the Muslims conquered these areas and they wouldn't convert to the religion of peace? Hitler admired the Muslims.
All historical facts, not one opinion .

Where did you here this cause it simply ain't true. My daughter covered the the second world war and in focused on the holocaust at school this year. We live in the east end of London where we have a large Muslim community and to my knowledge no one has ever complained. This was a terrible crime against humanity and our children should learn about it for the one reason you so rightly pointed out. To ensure that the world never forgets.

Completely untrue, and I would like to see what my Grandfather would have to say about the fact that he died 'whilst not lifting a finger to save the jews'. I think you will find that England did way more than any other country INCLUDING America during the 2nd World War. The author of that piece of shite should read up on their history as they are spouting some very dangerous lies.

i feel nothing as its not true. nor are your figures for the amount of jews, who died. there wasnt that many jews to start with. what about the disabled who also perished, gypsies, homosexuals? why is it always turned into the poor poor jewish? hitler did a terrible thing, but the best part is, that those jewish who managed to leave the country where the ones with money. they left their fellow men and women to suffer their fate at the hands of a mad man. they didnt stay and fight for their people, they fled like cowards. and england didnt lift a finger?! how insulting to all our brave men who died fighting this war. our cities and towns were bombed, out children evacuated. the women suddenly employed making weapons etc for the war effort and millions of young men and indeed old men died in that war. its well documented. i find your question insulting with what it implies.
you want cold hard proof?! how about you take a close, really close look at those with influence within your country and britain. within the media for example. what religion are they? rupert murdoch for instance is jewish. just how much media does that man own? for a man in position of such power, do you really think something that you imply is probably true to be allowed to happen by the jewish that are in such powerful posistions?! rupert is just one example. dig a little deeper.

Things will never change as there will always be those who want the rules changed to there favour. As for level playing field that's imposable for the simple reason that as things come together from one side, and meet in the middle, they slide away again

If that's true then it's a disgrace. So is the article though
"England didn't lift a finger to save the Jews that were Butchered by the Germans"
We did more than any other country! And we usually get told to mind our own business when we try to help in other countries ie Iraq!

Complete and utter rubbish. It was something taken out of context from a report on something or other and blown to its most ridiculous and anti-Islamic conotations.
It was even reported by some "serious" newspapers.
Do not believe a word of it, and please ask the person who sent it to you to check their facts before they blindly propogate this kind of vicious rumour. Ask them if they are happy to be fuelling religious hatred.
