its crazy eh ziggy? i mean scotland and wales, you know the birth place of the celtic pagans and all these rituals going on in america but nothing much going on in the original celtic lands, where most of those americans came from in the first place.
I know of rituals going on in ireland but none in scotland and wales. I know why, becuase the english didnt have as big an impact on ireland as it did scotland and wales. Basically we were wiped out and our religion with it, and its never recovered. Its up to us to start our own rituals and gatherings, and hopefully get some of those americans over to feel the spirit of a once pagan dominated land.
Its time the people of scotland and wales knew about their roots, that for thousands of years we lived peacefully, praising the sun the moon and the earth until those bible bashers came in and killed anyone that didn't believe in their religion. Why people still follow such a corrupt religion, I'll never know, but I can guess that they have never heard of Paganism.
Do it
The future is in our hands

I am an Amercan and if I had the chance to spend the winter solstice in the British Isles, there is only one place I would go and that would be Stonehenge...at least as close as I could get to it. Really, you can't miss Stonehenge on such an auspicious night. That would be like skipping the pyramids if you visited Egypt.

This link goes to the Events pages for Wales in The Witches Voice (witchvox.com). You can select which of the UK regions you wish to investigate and can connect with groups, people, events, shops, etc. It is a good tool with lots of info and is international. Check it out!

I live in the states, and we have a glorious party, at night..it starts shortly before midnight, with a bon fire, and laughter, happiness, and welcoming to the ending of the winter months and long nights.
